Same-Day Replacements & Installs · South Shore & Southwest Boston

How the one-visit day works

Most customers have three or four things that have been sitting on the list for months — the fixture that never went up, the faucet that drips, the TV still in the box. We take the old one out, put the new one in, and work down the whole list in a single trip instead of four separate appointments.

You buy the parts (or we talk through what to order), Miguel shows up with the tools, and the list gets finished. If something on the list points to a bigger job, he'll tell you what he sees and what it likely needs.

Light Fixture Installation on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

We install and replace ceiling lights, pendants, flush mounts, chandeliers, wall sconces, and exterior fixtures. We hang it level, wire it safe, and patch the ceiling if the new canopy is smaller than the old one. If the box or the wiring needs more than a straight swap, we'll tell you straight and point you to the right trade. Most jobs are the old fixture coming down, the box getting checked, the new fixture going up level and wired clean, and any ceiling marks patched before we pack up. Have the new fixture on site and the area below it cleared.

Ceiling Fan Installation on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

We take down the old fan or light and hang the new fan — balanced, wired, and quiet. If the ceiling box isn't rated for a fan, we replace it with a fan-rated box so it stays solid. We install remotes and light kits and make sure the pull chains work before we leave. A wobbly or noisy fan is usually a balance or box issue — we sort both so it runs smooth. Have the new fan and any remote kit on site.

Vanity Replacement on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

We disconnect the supply lines and drain, pull the old cabinet, set the new vanity level, and reconnect the faucet and drain. We seal it to the wall and floor and handle the small drywall or touch-up behind it when the new piece is narrower than the old one. A typical vanity swap is the old cabinet out, the wall touched up, the new vanity set level and sealed, and the faucet and drain reconnected and checked for leaks. Have the new vanity, faucet, and drain assembly on site, and shut off the water valves ahead of time.

Faucet & Toilet Replacement on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

Leaky, dated, or broken — we swap faucets and toilets, and handle garbage disposals too. We shut off the supply, pull the old unit, set the new one, and check for leaks before we pack up. We replace supply lines and the wax ring as part of the job so you're not calling us back next month. Light plumbing only — for anything beyond a swap, we'll refer you to the right trade. Have the new faucet, toilet, or disposal and any new supply lines on site.

TV & Fixture Mounting on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

We mount TVs, shelves, mirrors, curtain rods, and heavy pictures to the right anchor for your wall — stud, molly, or toggle — so it stays put. We hide the cable where we can, set the TV level, and confirm the height with you before we drill. We bring the right hardware; you pick the spot. Drywall alone won't hold a TV, so we find the stud or use the proper anchor for the weight. Have the mount and the TV (or shelf, mirror, etc.) on site, and know where the power outlet sits.

Furniture Assembly on the South Shore & in Greater Boston

Flat-pack furniture, shelving units, beds, desks, grills, and gym equipment — built to the instructions and tightened down so it's sturdy. We lay out the parts, follow the steps, and clean up the cardboard and plastic before we leave. Loose bolts and misaligned cams are why that bookshelf wobbles — we build it right so it doesn't. Have the boxed item on site with the hardware packet and instructions.

We hired Miguel for a few punch-list items after moving in, and he knocked everything out efficiently. He installed light fixtures, repaired trim, and took care of small issues we had been putting off. If you need reliable handyman help in Norwood, he is a great choice.

Excellent work from start to finish. Miguel communicated clearly, arrived when he said he would, and repaired a bathroom vanity and faucet with great attention to detail. We had a very smooth experience here in Fall River and would gladly recommend him.

Miguel was professional, on time, and handled several repairs in one visit without any hassle. He fixed drywall, adjusted a sticking door, and mounted a TV cleanly. It is hard to find someone this dependable in Boston, and I would absolutely call again.
